About Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) – Namma Metro

Bangalore Metro, also known as Namma Metro, was established as a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Karnataka.

Metro Lines Operated by BMRCL

Namma Metro currently operates multiple corridors connecting major residential, commercial, and IT hubs across the city:

Purple Line – Connects Whitefield (Kadugodi) to Challaghatta, passing through KR Puram, Indiranagar, MG Road, and Majestic.
Green Line – Connects Nagasandra to Silk Institute, covering Yeshwanthpur, Majestic, and Jayanagar.
Yellow Line – RV Road to Bommasandra (Electronic City corridor).
Blue Line (Under Development) – Planned to connect Central Silk Board to Kempegowda International Airport.
